I spent a good part of the day skipping backwards through the archives of Wondermark.com, despite the fact that I have homework to do.
I looked at the line on an item page on Amazon that warned “only 1 left in stock – order soon!” and willed someone else to order. I refreshed the page three hours later and the warning – and the item – was still there. Despite the $33 in my bank account, I feel myself getting so much closer to pressing the “add to shopping cart” button.
I stayed awake to watch Top Chef only to fall asleep at 10:30 (honestly – and this is embarrassing – it is a struggle to even keep my eyes open that late anymore. My body has a strange idea of how old it is).
I swore to myself I’d update the image in the header with every entry, but the only picture I’ve taken since the one that’s there now was of my dogs sleeping and no one wants to see that (except, perhaps, my mother).
I feel like the internet has lost its usefulness in terms of entertainment.
There cannot possibly be anything else to distract me from the Advertising textbook that is still open on my pillow.
Or I could be wrong.

I really like your photo and am glad you hadn’t changed it when I stopped by. Don’t know where you live, but I so enjoy scenes like this one and hope to someday live in a multistory building, looking out on a street scene.
