Hey Mother Nature -
I’ve treated you pretty nice all my life, haven’t I? Remember that time in elementary school when I went on a teacher influenced letter writing spree that resulted in the governor’s office sending me seed packets to get me to shut up? I remember that pretty clearly. This year I even bought an expensive aluminum water bottle for your benefit!

So what’s up with the weather lately? Why was today the third time in two weeks that I’ve been caught driving in the middle of a blinding windy thunderstorm? You know how I feel about storms. You know how wind makes me want to pull off the road and cry like a baby.

All I’m asking for is one week of uneventful car trips.
